About oolala balloons
Hey there! I’m Laura, oolala balloon’s owner, founder and designer! My husband, Leon (affectionally known as mr. oolala) is our Chief Financial Officer and my right-hand man. We are both Chapel Hill natives and met in college in Wilmington. mr. oolala & I started dating senior year, fell in love, moved to Raleigh to start our careers, and got married a few years later in 2021!
My personal love of bringing people together and a good party led me to starting oolala balloons in 2022. I believe in any excuse to celebrate and love the joy that balloons bring to every type of event! The smiles that balloons bring to people of all ages inspire me to deliver the very best.
My previous corporate career working with clients for 5+ years paired with Leon’s business acumen sets oolala apart because we are a small but mighty, well oiled machine equipped to provide you with the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail.
